President GEORGE WALKER BUSH
President George Walker Bush is related to us through my mother, Mary Ruth Long.
Our common ancestor was ten generations back. The couple was Daniel COMSTOCK, Sr. [Ahn 1576] (1630-1683) and his wife, Palthiah ELDERKIN [Ahn 1577] (1635-1713).
I descend from their son Daniel COMSTOCK, Jr. [Ahn 788] (1653-1746) and his wife Elizabeth PRENTICE [Ahn 789](1675-1770).
George Bush descends from Daniel and Palthiah’s daughter Ann. Ann COMSTOCK (1661-1727) was married to Ebenezer BILLINGS (1661-1727).
At this point I will outline the step by step descendants leading to me (E.Lamar Ross) and to my ninth cousin, President George W. Bush.
You can see the spouses and other details by looking on the Ahnentafel chart already on the site for our direct relatives.

My grandmother was Martha Elizabeth Whisenhunt; my father was Delmer Wasson Wright. I live in California and have many distant relatives by surname of Long. We also have Short relatives. I recall a five-generation picture my parents had with my father being the baby, my grandmother Martha Elizabeth Whisenhunt (Wright), with great grandmothers Long and Short. Your research is most interesting.
