I, George Chadwell of the County of Tusc., and State of Ohio, do make & publish this my last will & testament in manner and form following, that is to say.

First, It is my Will that my funeral expenses & all my just debts be fully paid

Second, I give, devise & bequeath to my beloved wife, Ruth Chadwell & my dtr. Magdalena T Chadwell the tract of land on which I now reside containing about 50 acres & being the north part of Lot number twenty one in quarter township number two of Township number five, of Range number two of Military lands in said county also the South half of lot number twenty two in said ________ township containing fifty acres, during their natural lives, also the household & kitchen furniture also one horse, two cows, ten sheep & four hogs to be selected by them & to be their choice of the stock of which I may be the owner at the time of my decease during the term of the of their natural lives all of said property both real & personal to be held by my said wife Ruth Chadwell & my said daughter Magdalana T Chadwell jointly so long as they both live, and be the surviving one, singly from the death of the other until her death. And at the death of my said wife & daughter surviving the other said real property hereby devised & bequeathed to them as may remain theirs, to my sons James Chadwell & Duffet Chadwell & to my daughter, Phebe Couts, Angiline Turner, & Elizabeth Murphy all sharing equally & like, the above devise to be in lieu of dower to my said wife.

Third, it is my will that all my property both real & personal, not herein aforenamed be sold at public sale & of the proceeds there to be paid to my grand daughter Elizabeth Chadwell one hundred dollars when she arrives to the age of twenty years, which said sum I hereby will & bequeath to her to be paid at said time without interest.

Fourth, I give & devise to son Thomas Chadwell one dollar to be paid out of the proceeds of the sale of my property above named.

Fifth, I give & devise to my said sons James Chadwell & Duffet Chadwell & to my said daughter, Phebe Couts, Angelina Turner & Elizabeth Murphy all the residue of the proceeds of the sale of my property mentioned in the third item herein, & all the moneys & credits of which I may be possessed at the time of my decease after deducting the payments herein directed to be made to others & my just debts & funeral expenses herein aforementioned. All of my said sons & daughters in this fifth item named sharing equally & alike.

And lastly, I hereby constitute & appoint my said sons Duffet Chadwell & Thomas Chadwell to be executor for this my last will & testament.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this thirtieth day of November AD 1859.
