My Grandfather Isaac S. Owens named his first daughter Esther LAvonia Owens. I believe he could be related to some of your Owens. His death certificate states he was born in North Carolina in 1877. It was said his middle name was Samuel but now have been told it was Slyvestor. Some of his other daughters names were Fannie, Senie, David, John. Wesley some of his sons. He joined the Spanish American War in North Carolina as stated on his papers. Would appreciate any help you might can give me. In the 1870s, two of my great-grandfather's older brothers left New Brunswick and moved permanently to New Hampshire, where a larger branch of our family evolved. At one time I was in contact with some of them but, over the years, the contact, unfortunately, faded. Keep up the good work.
