This blog and group of writings on the ancestral roots and selected ancestors of Elmer Melvin Ross & Mary Ruth Long is dedicated to this couple, my parents, and to the children, grandchildren and future offspring of their children (me and my brothers and sister) , Elmer Lamar Ross, Larry Edward Ross, John McClellan Ross, Jerry Wayne Ross, Ronald Eugene Ross, and Nancy Ruth Ross. May the strength of the knowledge of the past bring strength to their future.
